Project Description

Through a heightened focus on social-emotional learning, students’ well-being will be at the forefront of teacher-student-parent-global conversations. Students will work with peer partners across grade levels to share their unique perspectives and knowledge as they learn from and with each other. This work will include student choice, collaborative inquiry, differentiated tasks, as well as peer and self assessment and feedback. As a result of these partnerships, students will become leaders at home and in the wider community. Through blogging our Social Emotional and Deep Learning journey, parent information nights, keynote speakers, and social media use, we will continue to engage in an ongoing, open conversation with our parents and the global community. Students will be given equitable opportunities to use technology and work in spaces that help them build confidence and achieve individual goals. If these opportunities are readily available, then students can showcase their learning and achieve personal excellence.
